Punta Cana

Find your own life in the sunshine.

From Puntacana Resort to the beaches of Bávaro, Punta Cana brings together lagoons, golf, water sports, restaurants and lively neighbourhoods. Each area offers a different way to enjoy the coast.

The feel of the place

Beaches, neighbourhoods
and different ways to live

The Punta Cana destination presented here includes the airport and Puntacana Resort area as well as Bávaro further north. Ojos Indígenas, Playa Blanca and the La Cana and Corales golf courses sit alongside long beaches, restaurants and the lively streets of Los Corales and El Cortecito. Inland, Cocotal adds a residential golf setting.

Your precise address matters: some days unfold around lagoons and the marina, others near Bávaro beach and its terraces. Private facilities, clubs and activities have their own admission or booking arrangements.

A place on the map

From the airport area to Bávaro

Punta Cana lies in La Altagracia province at the eastern end of the country. Here the destination includes Puntacana Resort near the airport and Bávaro to the north, with Los Corales and El Cortecito by the sea and Cocotal inland. The map highlights this wider area approximately, rather than a precise address. Cap Cana and Uvero Alto remain separate destinations; plan journeys around the neighbourhood of your property.

Before you discover Punta Cana

Is Bávaro part of Punta Cana?

Yes. To browse properties, the Punta Cana destination brings together the airport area and the Bávaro neighbourhoods, including Los Corales, El Cortecito and Cocotal. Each project page gives its more precise location.

Can I visit Ojos Indígenas without staying at the resort?

The reserve arranges visits under conditions for different visitor categories. Check directly with Fundación Puntacana for reservations and current admission arrangements.

Is Cocotal golf directly on the beach?

No. Cocotal lies inland in a residential golf setting. Tee times, lessons and other services should be arranged through the club.

Does buying a property include access to every facility?

Access rights depend on the property, residence and venues. Golf, clubs, excursions and other services are not automatically included. Check the terms for each project.
